The 'weather vane' collection is again influenced by my sketch book drawings.

 

If I go anywhere, I always carry around a sketch book to jot down ideas and draw what interests me.

 

The weather vane idea developed from when I was sat in Wollaton Hall's court yard (Nottingham) - I sat and drew the steel scrolls and arrow-head of a weather vane. 

 

I like the intrecate detail and quirky different styles they come in.
